Gwendolyn Cline spent her childhood in New Hampshire and her adult years in many places. Although most of her writing is fictional, the author often includes personal experiences in her material.
The author tested this story by reading it to school children to get their reaction and feedback. To her delight, Behind The Walls Of The Old Stone House inspired the children and the children inspired the author.
Gwendolyn is in the midst of a career change and is now a student in pursuit of a nursing degree. She lives in Las Vegas with her husband John, a cat and two lovable labs. She has a grown son and one incredible grandchild, who loves books. The author is an animal activist and also does volunteer work in hospitals and homeless shelters.
