This is a book created just in time for the arrival of my grandparents to their newly finished home. It is a large house on a point of Chautauqua Lake in New York where friends and family come to celebrate all things in life. The house is made for my grandparents, and it is dedicated to their four children and their families, where all are welcome. This book is specifically a family book, as my grandparents live in florida in the winter and are away from the house for a long period of time each year. There are photographs that are specific to our family, however the book is designed to be interesting and inspiring to whomever may choose to look at it. This book is designed for anyone who is interested in photography in general. Point Four is filled with hundreds of color and black and white photographs that will inspire it's viewers to stop and find the beauty in everyday objects.

My name is Aleida and I recently graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education. In 2005 I also graduated from Jamestown Community College with an Associates Degree is Fine Arts: Studio Arts. I will soon be attending Graduate school for a Master's Degree in Studio Arts. I love all forms of art. I love everything about art. I love art history and everything about it. I am concentrating on oil painting, however I love working in other mediums including drawing with various media, wood working, collage, sculpture and pretty much anything I can get my hands on. most recently I have rediscovered my love of photography. I absolutely love traveling and my trips abroad to Europe have absolutely heightened my awareness of the intelligence and beauty of life all around me. I look forward to working more with painting, photography, as well as dabbling in a few other areas such as writing and illustrating children's books. I hope that everything I do inspires others.
