About the Creator
During his long career as a concert violinist, ENDRE BALOGH has performed as soloist with such prestigious ensembles as the Berlin Philharmonic, Rotterdam Philharmonic and with such eminent conductors as Zubin Mehta and Christoph von Dohnányi to name just two. He is an accomplished Chamber Music performer and toured throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe with the Pacific Trio for nearly 30 years. He has also played with such luminaries as Vladimir Horowitz and Leonard Pennario as well as in the acclaimed series of 1993 chamber concerts: “André Watts and Friends.” In 2004 he cut back on his concert schedule and rapidly began honing his passion for photography. His photos are prominently displayed in the collections of several connoisseurs of fine photographic arts. An illustrated article, “Black and White Flower Portraiture”, appeared in the annual “Expert Photo Techniques” guide published by “Shutterbug” magazine with his Oriental Lily on its cover.
