John C. Larson visually explores eating in "Sandwiched Lunch".
During a one year period, John set out to photograph the act of eating with someone else from his own perspective. 300 images later, John has produced a photo essay in order to visually explore the social aspects of eating.
Why do people eat socially? Why do diners have counters just for single individuals? Why does the act of eating spark conversations? Sandwiched Lunch explores these questions and more.
