Drawing and painting has been my life. I have always been interested in learning how to perfect the skills. Although I started out planning to be an art teacher, I found myself going down a different path. I became the first artist for Sea World, designing all the souvenirs for the gift shops. Opportunities opened up for me allowing me to work as an illustrator for a graphic art and advertising agency in the Virgin Islands. It was there that I developed a love of clear blue-green ocean. After receiving a teaching credential I began, instead of teaching, painting large restaurant murals as a full time painter and restaurant designer. Since then that is what I have done, paint murals. Along the way I also have done architectural rendering and various illustrations, restored carousel animals and now I teach art as a traveling artist in many schools.
