The Deccas | 2010
This book represents a body of work created as a personal project by practicing photographer Mick Buston documenting the life of Medway band The Deccas over the course of 2010.
Formed in 2007, The Deccas started life as a 5 piece but as this project commenced became a four piece made of up founder members Wesley Wren (guitar and vocals), Phil Crane (lead guitar and vocals), Dave Sawicki (bass and backing vocals) and Tony Hetherington (drums).
In July 2010 Phil Crane made the decision to leave The Deccas due to the iminent birth of his son and he was replaced in September 2010 by Nick Rice.
In total Mick Buston covered 31 events comprising live performances nationally, rehearsals, interviews, radio shows and shared personal moments.
