A photographic exploration of the Arlington West War Memorial in Santa Monica, California. The images were shot between November 11th, 2005 and May 25th, 2008. The project is on-going.
These photographs capture and illicit our varied emotions when we lose friends, family members, even strangers, to a war. Often these are men and women in the prime of their lives and the ensuing feelings of loss, of who is not with us, and how we chose to honor them, is palpable.
