Tir m’Oige: Land of my Youth is a photographic journey through the island of Lewis and Harris accompanied by memories of a childhood spent on the island. These photographs, taken in 1999 and 2000, are images of contemporary Hebridean life and reflect aspects past and present of this unique island.
Those who have not yet experienced the atmosphere and landscape of these Western Isles are invited to read and take a part of it with them.
Those who have loved it and visited it can be refreshed by the images and aspects intrinsic to the culture of the island.
