Photography has acquired symbolic values, telling us about the world. Conspiring with history, the photographic image as a document, has helped us to understand our environment much better: It has bought what is far away in space, much nearer to us, and has allowed us to stop time in its tracks.
In this way, a traditional concept of photography as an objective reproducer of reality began to form. This value of truth, is a partial approximation towards its appearance, more than a review of its ontological statutes: its only function its not to denote through representation; on the other hand, it often communicates on the plane of suggestion.
"Bodies" is the result of focusing my attention on the photography as a way of suggestion, for which it is specially appropriate: a re-creation of the body, instead of an attempt to represent this objectively.
A dreamlike vision where the image bring us close of the world of memory and imagination.
