In 1991, the author traveled to Nigeria to visit various churches and to participate in a conference designed to evaluate the companion diocese arrangment which had been set up earlier between the American Dioceses in the Midwest and the Anglican Church in Nigeria.. These photographs were taken during that trip. The articles were originally published in The Western Michigan Episcopalian newspaper which the author edited.

Fr. Joseph Neiman is an Episcopal (Anglican) priest in the Diocese of Western Michigan. He served as editor of the diocesan newspaper for 32 counties for many years, and has had photographs and writings published in numerous religious and secular newspapers and magazines.
