Under The Sky
A young man once embarked on a journey. His travels began with camera in tow and eyes wide open. Visions of line and color where there were none, connections with sensibilities and emotions in the absence of shared experiences, and shadows of concrete upon concrete as lightness and darkness battle with one another.
The journey compelled him to put miles on his shoes and curiosity before comfort in order to capture what was yet unseen to others, even him. He spoke with those from foreign lands without language and talked with tall buildings in echoes. And through the lens of his camera, he captured the conversation that nature has with its audience.
Art is the expression of imagination and skill, revealing the photographer’s history and interpretations. And his expressions can open doors we have not been through, giving rise to our own interpretations, maybe our own art. Thus, the circle remains unbroken.
A man took a journey and he captured it on film. And he translated it to paper, and he takes us there, too.
