About the Book
Los Angeles, being where much of American media originates, is a place that holds many myths. Everyone has their own idea of what LA is like, and for those who aren't from there, it is often way off the mark. Reading about the idea of sunshine and noir, I am now beginning to understand how I, along with the rest of the country and world, came to know this largely false image. Follow me on a photographic tour of the city as I tear down the barriers that run through its streets.
