Jeff James, (b.1965) is a photographer based out of Harrisonburg, Virginia. Outside of the U.S., Jeff has lived and worked in Kenya and Ethiopia. His first book, 13 Months of Sunshine, is a contemplative social documentary on Ethiopia as it struggles with development, disease, and poverty. These topics are of ongoing interest and a passion for Jeff, and will continue to be explored and documented in future projects. Jeff’s work has been published in The Los Angeles Times, National Geographic Adventure, The Baltimore Sun, Richmond Times Dispatch, Reuters, JPG Magazine, Blue Ridge Outdoors, and Rosetta Stone Ltd.
