About the Creator
"PAULA DICKEY" is a collaborative effort between Paula Dickey and myself. The "PAULA DICKEY" book features original art, written proposals and concepts, speeches and quotations by Paula Dickey. Inspirational quotes are also included as they frequently serve as an important component of Paula's creative process. Artist and Curator, Jannah Sexton Atkins resides in Anchorage, Alaska, where she teaches at UAA and the Art Kids Studio. From 1995 -2019 she curated Contemporary Art Exhibits for APU's Art Galleries and as the Alaska State Council on the Arts' Art Bank Curator (1997-2004) she managed a state collection of 770 pieces of original art created by Contemporary Artists living in the State of Alaska from 1975-2004. Jannah's mixed media relics, shrines and panels are featured in Soldotna Central Peninsula Hospital, State of Alaska’s 1% Art in Public Places & Art Bank, UA Museum of the North - FBXS, Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center, and Kenai Peninsula Borough School District.
