For the first time since World War II, Lydia Ehmke is returning to her childhood home near Danzig.
Her grandson Corey, inspired by the stories of "back home" that she has shared with him since he was small, has arranged for the trip in honor of her 85th birthday.
Equipped only with a journal, a digital camera, and a very humble grasp of German, Corey documented this moving chapter in the life of an extraordinary woman.
