Every Three Minutes is a collection of artist and photographer Alan McDearman's many photographs and paintings from the last decade. Mr. McDearman is never without his camera, and he has captured many wonderful moments and scenes over the years. Many of these photograph then went on to inspire his oils, watercolors and pastels. The title of the book comes from the family joke that Alan takes on average one photograph "every three minutes" while on vacation. While the family may joke about this fact, the math has been done and it has been found to be true. But the volumes of photographs that Alan McDearman has collected over the years are now a treasure to all as they chronicle his lifetime. He truly looks at the world with an artists eye, always looking for the next scene to photograph or paint.
