More than anything else, "ROY G. BIV" is an edited collection of stock photography, composed of images culled from the Creative Commons and available for free (providing credit is given to the photographer). Over 200 frankly stunning photographs are included, all grouped by colour - "roygbiv" being, of course, the acronym for the colours of the spectrum. A couple of handy indexes at the end of the book make it easy to find out who took what; contact information is also provided for each photographer.
One third of all the profits from the sale of "ROY G. BIV" are donated to Amnesty International - and that's good!
