This is a collection of plastic camera photos taken over the last 20 or so years. My fascination with these cameras began in the late 1980's , after purchasing two Banners at the Maine Photographic Workshops- for $8 each. The results of those first images were surreal, and convinced me to use these cameras to convey my vision. I still have those Banners, along with newer Holgas, Dianas, Lomo Action Samplers, and Lubitels.

Born and raised in Connecticut, I moved to the Boston area in 1976 for post-graduate school, majoring in Mental Health Counseling. I became interested in photography, took some workshops in Maine, and bought two Banner plastic cameras. These soon became my fine-art tools. Since then, I have added Holgas, Dianas, Actionsamplers and Supersamplers from Lomography.com, as well as a Lensbaby for my Canon 30D. I presently live in Maine with my wife, 2 kids, and 2 dogs.
