My partner and I moved to Hornby Island , off the coast of BC, last year. Living on the island during low season, we were seeking solace and healing fostered by the beautiful and unique environment of this special place.
The photography and prose in this book portray the island and its impact on us in literal and figurative ways. I shot using multiple film formats along with digital.
I am honoured to be able to share the beauty of this place with anyone who may be interested. Putting this book together made me realize that my stay on Hornby Island has become even more important in retrospect.
