This is the first book published by Paul Drzal. Paul works as an architect in Philadelphia, PA. His photography has become an extension of his personal and professional works.
Paul finds his subjects by exploring the city finding his way through abandoned buildings, alleys, and rooftops. His night photography portrays a side of the urban landscape rarely seen.
This book includes three parts: (I) The Steady Series: A series of photographs with undertones of aloneness and emptiness. (II) Musicians: A series of band and performance photography taken in dingy Philadelphia bars over the past 3 years including: Reigning Sound, The Detroit Cobras, The Victor Victor Band, and more. (III) In The City: Photographs from around the city of Philadelphia including abandoned buildings, night photography in parking garages and alleyways, and well known monuments and architecture.
