With this remarkable project Ed Morris has created a unique and timeless portrait of the United States of America.
His journey, with riding partner and long time friend Tim Hovey, took him 3,600 miles across the northern United States from Seattle, WA to Annapolis, MD. In each town through which they passed Ed photographed the Mayor in a location of their choosing. In total Ed photographed 87 Mayors including two Tribal Chairmen and The White House Director of Intergovernmental affairs.
This book, the culmination of the Mayors Across America project, celebrates our geographical, cultural, and political differences while in the same breath exalting our oneness and unity.
