Paris Noir is a book of photographs dedicated to the beauty of the dark side of Paris, to the beauty of cold, gray stone buildings in the dead of winter, where the architecture is prominent and sharp and the trees, bare of leaves, frame the buildings perfectly. It is dedicated to the empty streets, the cemeteries of endless crypts on cobblestone walkways without visitors and the glow of street lamps on darkened corners. Its intent is to remind us to look beyond what we believe to be beautiful and discover something even more amazing.
