Paris and Northern France 2008

Who knew that there was so much to photograph just in Paris and Northern France? I took over 1400 pictures (thank God for digital photography because I'd be BROKE otherwise) and whittled it down to 850 of the best. Yes, this book is huge. No, I don't expect anyone to shell out that kind of cash for their very own copy of my vacation book. But I DID want to show off my cover photograph and assure you that ALL of the photos inside are just as good! Check out my Cambodia book, too!

My love affair with the camera started years ago in high school when my parents gave me my first 35mm Minolta instead of allowing me to date. Bummer. It was so small and yet ultimately even more intimidating than a riding lawn mower! I vowed to master that silly thing. I am a long way off from mastery, but I have found that it is a great tool for discovering who people really are. Fortunately, it has not hindered my social life one bit! Woohoo! I thumb my nose at my parents for that. Now, when I grow up, I think I will be a photographer...and a writer.
