The set of images in this book is better characterized as A Certain Point of View because a short stay precluded the study of my photography subjects in-depth.
The scope of this study presents a very personal journey, the experience of seeing Japan for the first time. Not everything that I saw and tried to interpret through my lens was a profound revelation. Surprisingly, no matter how different our cultures are, our nations share the same core values.

Before becoming a photographer, Stone was an electrical and software engineer The emphasis of Brian Stone's work is portrait and landscape photography. He examines his subjects with the desire to create images which are simple, yet evocative.
