Yellowstone National Park occupies three states: Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. It spans approximately 3,845 miles, mostly located in Northwest Wyoming. Yellowstone is the first national park, created by an act of Congress on March 1, 1872.

The park is located over a super volcano, and offers viewing to many great thermal features including geysers, fumerals, springs, and mud pots. Yellowstone is home to many large herds of Elk, Buffalo, as well as a large population of Back bears and Grizzly bears. The parks geography and geology is very interesting, there are many educational programs available inside the park. There is also an abundance of human history including: Native American, early explorers, trappers, Cavalry, Park Service, and Tourism.

Aside from educational opportunities, the park offers great hiking, fishing, exploring, wild life viewing, and much more. Whether you’re young or old, live near or far; Yellowstone is a wonderful place to visit and explore.

I have taken thousands of pictures in Yellowstone National Park and the pictures I have chosen for this book are the ones that exemplify the beauty and wonder of Yellowstone National Park.
