This book contains photographs from a year long documentation of the U.S. National Kendo team training for the 13th World Kendo Championships in Taipei, Taiwan on December 8~10, 2006 and tournament photographs as well.
The U.S. mens team made history on December 10 by defeating Team Japan, breaking Japan's record of winning 12 consecutive world championships starting with the first in 1970.
