About the Book
The images contained within this book are the results of corrosion, defacing, or error. They have occurred through human error, digital error, or the intervention of nature. The resultant images are light blurs, corroding materials, layers and collages that are new forms of ‘accidental art.’
For the layout of this book, the images are arranged on the page at angles, to represent the randomness in the creation of the original images.
Visual artists are often inspired and influenced by accidents and experiments - a piece of corroding material could be the inspiration for a new design or piece of art. I am inspired by the idea of recycling and reusing, and I hope that you enjoy viewing these images too.
