About the Book
A multi-day adventure in an old beloved Land Rover Defender, tracing the old original Route 66 from its easternmost end in downtown Chicago to the 11th Street Bridge in Tulsa. It's a friendly but very quiet road, with parts almost completely forgotten as it's been rerouted multiple times over the years. A good mix of history and kitsch.
