About the Book
This book is a compilation of my 9 months spent working and living in Peru in 2009. It covers almost all corners of the country and is shot mostly in a documentary style. It has a number of photo-stories on various cultural aspects of Peru including Amazonian tribes, the high-plains of the Alti-Plano and in Lima, the capital city. Cars, cakes, bullfighting, jungle town transvestites, car-blessing ceremonies and the incredible Inca ruins of Machu Picchu all make appearances in this interesting, thoughtful and visually anthropological over-view of the country of Peru.
