Photography has been Ron Jones' passion for thirty years. Over ten years ago, he became fascinated with the possibilities of the new digital technology as an artistic tool. Many of his works are composites of several images, others use various effects generated both in camera and in computer. He is a member of Allied Artists of West Virginia and has had work exhibited in local galleries. He has won numerous international online photography awards and has images as covers of several statewide magazines. He has been featurded in the international magazines PCPhoto and Photoshop Creative. For Ron each image is an exploration of that subtle and wonderful world that surrounds him.
Great job! A very nice body of work. It might be argued that a paragraph or two of text would set the context of the imagery for some. Although it would no longer be the same body of work. Though it might work as a second edition, which would appeal to a less artistically minded, more literal audience. Just a thought of constructive criticism.
"It isn't what you look at, but what you see," noted Thoreau. I see only light and beauty. Jones' work transcends sophisticated digital manipulations to form a remarkable artistic style to be highly admired and respected. gk
