About the Book
For about 5 years it was all digital. Megapixels, L series, photoshop, the newest equipment, edited every single photo, and just about every headache associated with digital. I hadn’t shot a single roll of film in that time. I had forgotten the feeling of not knowing what your photo looked like the moment you shot it. Forgotten the feeling that if you got your measurements wrong the photo might actually look better! Then with the find of a used Pentax 67 at a local camera shop a new journey began. With the purchase of my new found Medium Format camera ( that was priorly owned by legendary surf photographer Joe Curren) I set out on one of the most exciting years of my young photography career. This book is actually a span of about 5 months of shooting film during the winter swell season of 2011/2012. I hope you enjoy this past season has much as I did.
