The Peterson Collection, with the support of Blurb.com, is pleased to announce the release of "The Peterson Collection," a full-color hardcover catalog of the works in the Peterson Collection of contemporary realist art.

Mr. Peterson has reproduced a significant portion of his captivating collection of paintings in oil, watercolor, photography, etching and many other media including the works of more than forty living international artists. Works by artists in the collection may be found in leading international museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim, and the British Museum. This sumptuous volume is fully annotated with information on the artworks, the artists who made them, and with observations by Mr. Peterson recounting his experiences building the collection.

Lowery Stokes Sims, PhD, former Curator of Modern Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and President of the Studio Museum in Harlem has said, "Gregory Peterson's inspiring collection is a product not of limitless wealth, but rather of Peterson's limitless passion and ingenuity. The Peterson Collection is a testament demonstrating that with those qualities all of us who treasure the creative human spirit can build a distinguished legacy."

Robert Fishko, Director of the Forum Gallery, New York has said: "The book, 'The Peterson Collection,' is really an excellent effort, the detail in the reproductions, revealing brushstroke and surface interest, is incredibly well-realized, and the selections can only be very gratifying to a figurative art lover like myself. Depictions, painted and drawn, of people are notoriously difficult to print, and the Blurb Publishing Service has done fine service to the art."
