In May and June of 2008 I took three road trips. I went to destinations in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas. This book is a series of Polaroid photographs I took of signs along the road while travelling on these trips. Many of the Polaroids were taken on the historic Route 66. It was great fun to take these photographs.
Unfortunately in February of 2008 Polaroid announced it would discontinue the manufacture of all of its instant film. Since this sad announcement I have been using Polaroid film while it is still possible.
These photographs were taken using a Polaroid One 600 camera using Polaroid 600 film.
