Since May, 2007, Holt Webb, a native of Alpharetta, Georgia, has been traveling around the United States in BABS (his Big Ass Bus), documenting and publishing images and stories of American Treasures that could be lost to us during our lifetimes.

The Journey began in the wetlands of the Deep South, and moved west through California and Oregon before coming East again. As the journey continues, Holt will move North through the Appalachian Mountains and along the Atlantic Coast. He will travel into the countryside of New England, into the Rust Belt and the abandoned industries of the Northeast, then into America's Heartland in search of farms and small town life.

In coming years, Holt will once again go West, seeking out the Wild Mustangs and iconic cowboys and ranchers of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, andthe vanishing frontier wilderness of Alaska.

This book is a portfolio of Holt's favorite images taken from the summer of 2007 through the summer of 2008.
