Pua and John spent the summer of 2006 as campground hosts at Savage River in Denali National Park. When they arrived in May they discovered a Great Horned Owl family busy raising four chicks near their campsite. It was very clear from the start that each family member had a distinct personality. The smallest, last born and last out of the nest was Houti. He was usually apart from the rest of the family and got into much more trouble than the rest.
