This first book employs segments of my ink drawings to give a visual narrative of my recovery in the months following the accident involving the my drawing hand on December 07. Villages are the points along the path where we stop or press on. Were we examine our hearts and try to make sense of tragedy, however small or large. The second half of the book contains a show companion. It catalogs most of the art in my first post-injury show with the same title.
