About the Book
Book Content Written by Neil Jackson
Pierre Koenig is an established architect who has a very distinct style to his buildings. For example, it’s notable in his architecture that he uses very geometric shapes + lines. Thus, I mimicked this characteristic with my use of lines throughout my spreads. A common pattern in color usage is another characteristic you can see in many of the interiors. These colors were used throughout my book and highlighted in each introductory page and created a mood that feels “sunny and warm. I also used it to my advantage to highlight key aspects in each photograph to bring emphasis and hierarchy to his architecture.
