In December 2007 six friends set out on a safari to Botswana and Zimbabwe
The trip was planned on a beautiful evening in the late summer whilst we had dinner with our would be travel companions . Each year these swallows migrate to Onrus, a small seaside village on the south coast of South Africa, near Hermanus (the whale capital of the WORLD). They'd never done camping African style so we persuaded them to try it.

Christmas in the bush, magic! We were determined to celebrate Christmas in the bush with all the bells and whistles and we certainly did. This book is a tribute to six friends. Good friends who braved the elements,rain, mud, mosquito's, flies, monkeys, elephants and leopard to tell this story.
