About the Creator
RoseMarie is a professional fine artist, illustrator and graphic designer whose paintings in watercolour, oil or acrylic are appreciated for their strong compositions, knowledgeable use of colour, light and affinity with her chosen subject. From her studio in Fenelon Falls she expresses her Canadian heritage and concern for Canada’s unique and fragile ecology through her paintings of landscape, people, flora and fauna. RoseMarie is a tireless wilderness traveler who hikes, camps and paints en plein air whenever possible. The La Cloche Mountains are one of her favourite places to explore, photograph and paint. RoseMarie is a delighted participant in the Willisville Mountain Project. RoseMarie has recently completed 26 oil paintings as well as various watercolour and digital illustrations to illustrate the award winning children’s picture book ‘The Canadian Shield Alphabet’ was awarded the 2009 Writers in Science award it is available from the publisher at www.yournickelsworth.com
