About the Creator
Beverly Furer is a graphic arts professional, living in Toronto, Canada. Her first encounter with horses was at the farm of a childhood friend, Fern Dodick, in Amherstburg, Ontario and again at the age of sixteen at her uncle Phil Arber’s farm in Vankleek HIll, Ontario. Her Aunt Samme introduced her to the pure joy of riding by giving her the reins of her Appaloosa stallion, Chief, for an entire summer. The years later Beverly bought her first horse, a little Arabian named Peter Pan, and brought him to the Grelo Farm. It was there she was introduced to the art of horsemanship and her own Lusitano, Girasol. For the next decade this stallion would provider her with monumental challenges and endless rewards. Her talent as an artist has blossomed in celebration of the richness that Frank Grelo and his loving family has brought to her life.
