My goal in making this book is to have you look at San Diego beyond what the gift-shop book might show you. To take you past the hotels, away from the tour-map's numbered locations on the old trolley route. I wish to show you the everyday beauty that can be found throughout San Diego and show you what you might have missed while visiting.

For the locals, this book is for you too. In our day to day routines, as we go from one place to another, we might lose sight of the fact that we live in a very remarkable city. We have friends or family visit and we might even buy into the usual "tourist destinations" as being our city's only photogenic areas. However, from my experience this city is filled with amazing sights that can be found in our own neighborhoods. From before the sun breaks beyond the eastern hills, to well past it’s slow glide below the ocean's edge, this city has a lot to offer someone with a camera.

Please note:
25% of my profits will be going to the local chapter of StandUpForKids.org – a nationwide non-profit organization that provides direct outreach to homeless kids. San Diego is a great city, but every city has somebody that could use a little help. Please check out www.StandUpForKids.org
