I've always been a big fan of the psychedelic posters of the 60's and I think my color palette comes through here. As a result of digital exploration here, I began discovering that these photographs took on a life of their own. Sometimes, it would be 'other-wordly' and sometimes it would be as if you were seeing things with night vision goggles for the first time. In either case, it was as if your were witnessing the 'energy' of the subject that everyone's ordinary eyes can not see. I thought to myself, 'yes, that's exactly the point of what I'm trying to do here.'

We take so much for granted in this world and if one just stops and looks around, we can see the beauty even in the mundane things- it's all there. You just might have to pull back the curtain and simply take a closer look.
