Some places are being saved, while others are sadly rotting away. My hope is that this journey through the United States of decay brings you inspiration and enjoyment.

About the Creator
A.D. Wheeler
New York, USA
Born and raised in a small town in upstate New York, Andrew D. Wheeler has been taking photographs since he was old enough to hold a camera. He is self-taught and loves pushing the boundaries of both the camera and post processing. Andrew specializes in High Dynamic Range photography as he feels it allows him better control over the available light in a given scene. His process is dedicated to replicating not only the scene but conveying the mood of the shot to the viewer. While he does not consider himself an explorer he does love the adventure in finding beauty and art in generally unseen places, places off the beaten path, uncovering the hidden beauty that lies within.
