I was born Henry Hyphen-Jones in Brighton, 1965 to Lord Reignsbury and his cook Mrs Jeniffer Jones, a eulogomaniac with a penchant for pipe-smoking men. After a sub-standard education in Bath I became a Fine Art Sculpture Graduate collecting a first from a nondescript college in Hampshire. Thence a part-time pilot, hill-walker, cyclist and, of course, artist. After working in New York and Australia (there creating a cartoon strip for Australian Viz comic called "The Men in White Vans") in the late '80s and early '90s and filling many sketchbooks, cooler air beckoned and I returned to the UK permanently in 1994. Having toyed with the London art scene for a while, I decided that particular coterie could do without my number, and embarked on what has now become many years of experience art directing for the TV industry, creating storyboards and concept drawings. Recent years have seen a resurgence of cartoon and pen drawing and the completion of "The Book of Drell".
