Grant Taylor is a professional photographer whose images are characterized by a minimalist style with a strong sense of color. Previously, he worked as a stock photographer for Tony Stone Images, now Getty Images. His images have been used commercially throughout the world for many years. He mostly specializes in travel photography and has traveled extensively over the years, having visited all seven continents. He enjoys exploring new and different locations on each trip.
Having started out with b&w photography in a small darkroom, he now concentrates on digital photography and the digital process, including b&w digital infrared. He also has experimented with alternate processes such as Polaroid manipulations and b&w infrared. The darkroom has now been replaced by computers and a ink jet printer which he often uses to print his own work.
