About the Creator
Born into a New Zealand farming and fishing family, I spent most of my adult life in coastal North Queensland, Australia with periods of time spent sailing on the Coral Sea. My fine art photography is held in private collections throughout Australia and New Zealand. My photography explores the idea that crossing physical, emotional, and psychological boundaries enables us to create places that exist somewhere between real and fantasy worlds. I'm not looking for sharp images or to follow the traditional rules of photography; instead, I am revealing what my senses tell me about the subjects, or crafting what I imagine could happen if something changed reality just for a moment.
