About the Book
The premise of The Jacket Show was to put together an exhibition that could travel beyond a specific location - packed up and away either in a suitcase or worn by the participants. A jacket is a garment that extends down to the waist or hips and might have a collar. It fastens down the front and usually has sleeves. It can be the skin of a potato, a sheep’s wool, a dog’s fur, tin foil over a candy bar or the eyelashes on a face.
