About the Book
Exploring Puglia, his ancestral home at the heel of Italy’s boot, Peter Galante embarks on a photo-documentary expedition to chronicle and archive the Trulli of the Itria valley. Trulli, dry stone structures constructed entirely without mortar, are not found among any other culture or any other location outside Puglia. In this collection, Galante includes 46 panoramas to authentically capture the sense of place within the environs of 63 uninhabited Trulli.
