About the Book
Welcome to what is an eclectic sample of images representing the majority of the NMIT Applied Photography class of 2008.
The following pages are an attempt to capture a snapshot of the students’ time at TAFE and to display what is some of their best and favourite work photographed whilst studying in Fairfield between 2007 and 2008.
This is a record of this period in our lives and a keepsake to always remind us of the good times we had, and the great friends and colleagues we met, at TAFE ‘all those years ago.’
“It’s not often that a class like yours comes along,” they said. And here we are now at the end of our two-year diploma having finished what we came here to do: we came, we saw, we photographed, we conquered.
Enjoy.
“Photography, fortunately, to me has not only been a profession but also a contact between people…”
- Nikolas Muray, Photographer
