About the Book
I attend art fairs to look at the art, but also to figure out interesting ways to relate to the experience as an artist. Various projects have come out of this. One was called ART SHOW BUTTERFLIES (2009), a series of imaginary butterflies fashioned from photographed fragments of the art seen at the show.
This project returns to these art show butterflies, and uses 370 of them to create a series of simulated kaleidoscopic images. Each butterfly is used only a single time.
